The purpose of this pamphlet is to set forth performance/selection criteria that should be utilized in identifying traditional valves (used in conjunction with excess flow valves) that are suitable for use on bulk, liquid chlorine, transportation equipment. This pamphlet contains information pertaining to standardization, performance and design criteria as well as appendices that include information on valves that meet these criteria. This pamphlet does not provide guidelines on dual valves systems, which instead can be found in CI Pamphlet 168 (5.1).
